This year’s Summer Reception marks 12 months since the creation of the APPG on FinTech. The All-Party Parliamentary Group on FinTech was set up to raise awareness in Parliament of the growing importance of FinTech to the UK economy, to policy-making and to consumers.
The event will look to bring together key stakeholders from across the financial services and FinTech industry, academia, and Parliament to discuss the current FinTech landscape and key areas of opportunity looking to the year ahead.
The Summer Reception will also see the official launch of the APPG’s report “Stepping Forward for FinTech”, which identifies some of the FinTech policy challenges and opportunities to consider when supporting and shaping the growth of this new and exciting sector.
