The All-Party Parliamentary Groups on FinTech and Financial Markets & Services are delighted to invite you to a joint event on Thursday 11 March, 14:30 – 15:30 – “The Kalifa Review – a roadmap for the future of UK FinTech”.
The recently launched Review, chaired by Ron Kalifa, considers the UK FinTech sector’s current position and the “size of the prize” in terms of job creation, trade and investment, financial inclusion and economic recovery that the industry could deliver with the right strategic support.
At the meeting, Ron will present the key recommendations from the Review, which are based upon the issues of policy and regulation, skills, investment, international opportunities and national connectivity.
The meeting will be chaired by Adam Afriyie MP, chair of the APPG on FinTech, and Gareth Davies MP, vice chair of the APPG on Financial Markets and Services. We also hope to include a minister to provide the government’s point of view on the sector’s growth and expansion.
