The United Kingdom has a world class payments infrastructure, and is one of the very few real-time payments systems in the world, underpinning the UK’s £75 trillion payments industry, setting the standards for other economies to follow.
This roundtable will seek to explore how UK payments systems underpin innovations in financial technology, help to promote financial inclusion, and continue to drive economic growth for the United Kingdom.
As part of this discussion, we will hear presentations from VocaLink, The EmergingPayments Association, Innovate Finance and other payments innovators from across the FinTech ecosystem, as we seek to understand how payments can best be harnessed to support the UK’s global FinTech ambitions.
